Teenagers and young people

If you’d like to provide information about crime, are worried about a friend who may be involved in crime, or are involved in something you don’t want to be, you can ring Fearless on 0800 555 111 and talk to someone completely anonymously – no one will know who you are.

They cannot track your IP address or your phone number, so this is a safe place to give information.

Fearless is the dedicated youth service of the independent charity Crimestoppers.

Parents and carers

If you’re worried about a young person, BCP Council’s Children's Service First Response Hub provides the public and professionals with advice, information and support for children who are vulnerable and at risk.

The council’s out of hours team provide an emergency response for any child in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole who is either in crisis or needs urgent help. You should only call if the safety and/or welfare of a child or young person is at serious risk of significant harm, and the situation cannot wait until 9am the next working day.

The number to call is 01202 738 256.

Always call 999 if you think someone is in immediate danger
